’South Australia is a fantastic State - it goes without saying that you would automatically expect to see an abundance of Australian wildlife, but I was not prepared for the amount of Kangaroos and emus I encountered. Wilpena pound is a must; a scenic flight will truly give you a grander scope of the outback!!
Gavin has hopped his way around Australia and just like a boomerang always yearns to return.
The great outdoors, crazy wildlife and amazing beer – what’s not to like!
I spent an amazing year travelling and working in New Zealand. For 2 months myself and a group of friends drove a campervan around the North and South Islands exploring as much as we could, before living and working in Queenstown for the remainder of the time.
I love New Zealand because there are so many different things to do in such a small space! From lazing on the beautiful beaches of the Coromandel to climbing a Glacier in Franz Josef. I found it a very friendly and easy country to travel around and the food and wine is out of this world.
Having travelled a lot of Australia, the West Coast is still my favourite location. I spent 6 weeks travelling from Broome to Perth and experienced the stunning Ningaloo Reef, swimming with whale sharks, feeding dolphins at Monkey Mia and generally got to experience the real Australia.
I lived in Sydney for a fab three months and loved the mix of beaches and laidback City life. Whether I was having a cocktail by the Opera House, trying out surfing in Bondi or escaping to the Blue Mountains for the weekend there was always something amazing to do!
